Brief History

The tradition of producing gears and drive assemblies at HSW S.A. Oddział I in Stalowa Wola dates back to the 1970s. The Gear and Transmission Plant established at that time was one of the most modern facilities of its kind in Europe.

Developing its production and technological capabilities, the Plant has, over time, become a significant supplier of gears and toothed components to leading Polish and global manufacturers of construction machinery, railway vehicles and agricultural equipment. By the mid-1990s, the Plant was already a national leader in the production of powertrain units.

Since the beginning of its history, the Plant has focused on the production of high-quality toothed elements. The experienced workforce and extensive technological knowledge, along with substantial technical capabilities, are part of the Company’s characteristics.
