- Welding provides an increase in weld quality, it is possible to weld the workpiece in a single fixture on the rotary-manipulator,
- 6-axis welding robot, working radius 1900 mm, arm type RTE 496-S,
- L-type manipulator – 7 [t], robot arm suspended on a TLA3 type roadway.
Manual welding
- Welding with semi-automatic welding machines – by the following methods: MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA,
- Possibility of fixing the welded element on the APS 10000 positioner, table plate diameter: 1350 mm. Inclination in three axes of the welded element, inclination/angle: 135 (degrees),
- Welding instruments,
- Welding tables,
- Lifting capacity of positioner. TYPE L: 15 [t].
Welder training centre
The Training Centre is certified by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Górnośląski Instytut Technologiczny (Upper Silesian Institute of Technology) for training, examining and certifying welders according to the PN-EN ISO 9606-1,-2 and PN-EN ISO 14732 standards. We also cooperate with TÜV Rheinland Polska Sp. z o.o. and the Office of Technical Inspection in terms of conducting welders’ verification exams.
With the help of qualified staff we conduct courses and verification exams in the following welding methods:
- 111 – manual arc welding with covered electrode MMA,
- 121 – submerged arc welding with solid electrode wire,
- 131 – solid electrode wire inert gas MIG welding,
- 135 – welding with solid electrode wire in active gas shield MAG,
- 136 – flux cored solid electrode wire welding MAG,
- 141 – arc welding with tungsten electrode in inert gas shield TIG,
- 311 – acetylene-oxygen welding.
Our courses are conducted according to the IS Guidelines in 3 modules:
- Module I – basic level – fillet weld welding of sheets and pipes,
- Module II – extra basic level – butt weld welding of sheets,
- Module III – extra basic level – butt weld welding of pipes.
